Patrikia beach: A spot known only to the locals
Last summer, we visited Patrikia. A small bay on the south side of the gulf of Adamas, just on the opposite side of the port. This place is little known and visited mostly by the locals via boat. It takes a 15-minute dirt road and a narrow path to reach, but it worths the effort. The dirt road starts just 1 km west of Achvadolimni beach on the right side of the main road.
Patrikia consists of 3 small beaches with spectacular white sand and beautiful rocks and is great for snorkeling with plenty of colorful fish and sea urchins.
Even in August, it is usually not crowded, so the visitor can relax and enjoy the sun and the beautiful island landscape
Water, an umbrella and light food are necessary if you plan to stay for a few hours.
